The current world we live in has led us to start live streaming a lot, whether its wedding ceremonies because families can't be present, or funerals due to the limit of 50 people...professional live streaming allows family from all over the world to feel part of the emotions at a fraction of the cost.
Our Live Streaming journey has been an eventful journey.
We are now in the position where we live stream in Full HD to YouTube...as you know in South Africa, we sit with load shedding, well, we now run backup power just incase the lights go out.
Not only does this allow us to generally keep streaming but just in case local towers go down for signal, we are able to still record the backup and immediately upload it after the stream without having to wait for any editing.
We stream with 2 to 3 cameras, and when it comes to funerals and weddings, it allows us to switch between cameras from various angles making those that are online feel as if they were right there...we often get told that the online experience feels better than the experience on the day, due to the way its 'edited live'.
Here are some images we captured recently of some behind the scenes at some of our streams.
We have a custom live stream case that allows us to setup in under 30 minutes if need be.
If you want to book a live stream, don't hesitate to contact us.
